I’ve been told you’re always supposed to lead with a laugh. I’ve got two.
Laugh 1
Laugh 2
Here’s a snipppet from laugh one:
“Im going to say it now if Dorsey stays healthy, dosent get traded and in the 4-3 under Doresy will have 57 tackles and 8 sacks, because of Tyson Jackson and Dorsey will be [...]

Now that I’ve had a couple days to stew and rant to whoever would listen, I think I’m off the ledge. Our first-round pick, while not ideal, wasn’t a Glenn Dorsey-style blind throw at a dartboard. Scott Pioli has a very specific plan, and I’m reasonably confident Tyson Jackson will help see that [...]

Wow! I mean seriously, wow! What a day! That Scott Pioli wasn’t lying about having some tricks up his sleeve. He said not to blink, and he was right! If your blink lasted 20 hours you’d miss our next pick. That guy don’t play!
Seriously, this was a very disappointing [...]

All right fellas (and grandma), we’re getting close. The draft is 24 hours away. I’ve been waiting for this since, well, last year’s draft I suppose. That’s the one benefit of being ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN you’re going to be terrible: high draft picks!
I forced myself to watch a lot of college football last [...]

Jay Glazer broke the story today that the Chiefs have traded tony Gonzalez to the Atlanta Falcons for a 2nd round pick in 2010. Clark Hunt and Scott Pioli have confirmed the trade. This makes the second straight year the Chiefs have traded their best player.
To be fair, this situation is totally different [...]

I have to admit, I was shocked to read Kone-Dawg’s prediction that the Chiefs will be worse in 2009 than in 2008. There’s no way that can happen. Even ignoring our 2-14 record completely, last season was the most pathetic performance I’ve ever seen from a professional sports team….and that includes any Royals [...]

For those of you who have been living under a rock for the past couple days, the Chiefs have inked Jeff Webb to a fresh deal. Apparently we’ve decided to pay $1 million for his services. As mind-boggling as this seems, I have to admit my knee-jerk reaction when I read this was [...]

I was hangin’ with my boy Comix last night and I made a few statements about what I thought the Chiefs should do this year in the draft (I also, without any evidence, accused him of being a Brodie Croyle fan). He balked at my analysis and dared me to record it for posterity’s [...]

Apparently the all important role of nosetackle in our new 3-4 defense will be manned by none other than Crumbs’ boi Tank “Stank” Tyler. I’d been hearing this rumor for a few days, but the confirmation came from Stank himself in an interview yesterday on Sirius Satellite Radio. I know there aren’t a lot of [...]

The Chiefs signed Zach Thomas over the weekend. I would say that I’m mildly excited about this. Thomas certainly isn’t a long-term solution, but at $2 million for 1 year this deal makes a lot of sense. God knows we’ve got cap space to spare (still need to spend over $15 million just to reach [...]
